The Thai Plastic Industry Club and the Thai Plastic Industry Association are the authoritative plastic industry organizations of the Thai plastic industry zui, whose members cover the professional plastic production units of the Thai plastic industry zui. The last exhibition, held in September 2016, attracted more than 200 exhibitors and nearly 10,000 professional buyers and audiences, covering 33 countries worldwide. The scale of the 2018 exhibition continues to expand, with an exhibition area of 15,000㎡, and the number of exhibitors will reach more than 300.

From 2009 to 2012, the trade surplus between China plastic machinery and Thailand has been widening. According to the Kaitai Research Center quoted by China News Agency, Thailand has achieved a leap-forward growth in terms of the recycled plastic market.
In 2013, the number of recycled plastics in Thailand increased by 48.8% compared with 500,000 tons in 2011, reaching 800,000 tons. The market value of recycled plastic resin in Thailand is expected to reach 23.56 billion baht in 2014, an increase of 14.7% over 2013. Thailand’s recycled plastics industry will continue to grow in 2015. In July 2016 alone, bilateral trade between China and Thailand totaled 6.058 billion US dollars. Thailand imported 3.254 billion US dollars from China. Plastics and its products ranked fourth in imports, with imports of 130 million US dollars. It can be seen that the market prospects of Thai rubber and plastics industry are worth looking forward to.
